About Us

Alondi was born from a desire to find a hand cream that really worked. A lot of the 'big brands' found in the pharmacy or supermarket are useless. They're mainly water. Many of them use mineral oil, and our skin doesn't find mineral oil useful. We discovered that our skin likes natural emollients that match the profile of the fatty acids found in the derma. We decided to use emollients such as shea butter, almond oil, and avocado oil. Check your own skin creams, read the ingredients. Does it have mineral oil?

Naturals: We followed the natural approach by adding plant extracts that are known to have restorative properties. The green tea extract in our hand cream delays cell aging, firms, balances tone, and is packed with the antioxidant EGCG. You can find more information about green tea in skin care, here.

Development: Aloe vera can be found in many of our products. We obtain this, and other important natural ingredients, from a source certified by UNIDO. Aloe vera contains more than 20 amino acids, 8 of which are not made by our bodies and are critical to our health. It contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B9, B12, C, choline, and E. Special benefits for the skin include bradykinase, an anti-inflammatory; the hormones gibberellin and auxin, with anti-inflamation and wound-healing activity; the plant steroids campesterol, beta-sitosterol, lupeol and cholesterol, giving analgesic and antiseptic action. Other natural plant products found in our creams are calendula, papaya, centella asiatica, and nopal cactus (opuntia cladoides).

COLD PROCESS SOAP

Cold process is the best soap you can buy. It contains glycerin. Its naturally creamy lather deep cleans and conditions your skin. Includes virgin avocado oil for extra conditioning. Select your favourite from a range of fragrances and colours.

Alondi Hand Cream

Alondi's hand cream contains green tea and aloe vera extracts. Your skin will develop a lighter, more even tone with the use of this cream, and photo-age spots will dramatically fade. Repairs damaged, dry, scaly skin. Contains shea butter which protects against ultraviolet rays (SPF approx. 6), gives the skin a silky feeling, nourishes,hydrates, and reduces fine lines and wrinkles.

Alondi Face Cream

Alondi's face cream is based on shea butter and a blend of triglycerides that accurately matches your skin's lipids, to pamper the delicate skin of your face and neck. Alondi Face Cream contains 20% aloe vera which acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory, and extracts of nopal cactus provide additional benefits from the desert flora. This cream is suitable for sensitive skin.

Body Milk

Alondi Body Milk is based on our hand cream and contains the same ingredients, but is reformulated for even faster absorption, to leave the skin calm and hydrated without any greasy or oily film.

Alondi Rescue Cream

Alondi Rescue Cream is designed as a theraputically active product to alleviate first and second degree burns, heal inflamed, irritated skin, and help to heal minor lesions. It is based on fast-absorbing emollients that take the active herbal ingredients into the derma. Contains a high percentage of aloe vera extract, plus nopal cactus, calendula, centella asiatica, and papaya. This cream is particularly effective against sunburn when used as an after-sun product.

Propolis Cream

Alondi's Propolis Cream contains bee propolis and aloe vera. Propolis has many noted benefits to health and possesses powerful antiseptic, antibacterial, and antifungal properties. Studies have shown propolis to be effective as a treatment for such conditions as genital herpes.

Individual Floras

Our range of individual floras is provided for the discerning customer who wishes to try indivual bioactives. We currently offer creams of aloe vera, nopal cactus, calendula, centella asiatica, and papaya. We can formulate a cream specially at your request, for your personal requirement.

Face Masks

We import face masks from the Far East in order to provide you with the ultimate in facial care. The masks contain advanced polypeptides that have strong anti-aging and rejuvenation effects. Available in a large selection: Raspberry, Brightening, Royal Jelly, Snail, Caviar, Fresh aloe, Collagen, Coenzyme Q10, Chlorella, and Charcoal. We also have under-eye gold masks.
